Travelocompare.net is not an airline and does not issue tickets directly. All tickets are issued through licensed airline partners and are subject to the fare rules set by each respective carrier.

By completing a booking on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy, the applicable airline's conditions of carriage, and any fare-specific rules associated with your ticket.

2. Nature of Airline Tickets

Airline tickets are contracts of carriage between the passenger and the airline. As a licensed travel agency, Travelocompare.net facilitates the booking and ticketing process but does not have the authority to override the fare rules set by airlines.

Most airline tickets are subject to restrictions including:

  • Non-refundable fares that do not permit cash refunds upon cancellation
  • Change fees or fare difference charges for modifications to dates or itineraries
  • Minimum stay requirements, advance purchase conditions, and blackout dates

4.2 Our Service Fee

In addition to any airline-imposed cancellation fees, Travelocompare.net charges a service fee for processing cancellations. This fee covers the administrative costs of liaising with the airline on your behalf.

6. 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation

In accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, customers who book directly with an airline or through a travel agency for travel originating in the United States are entitled to cancel a reservation within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the booking was made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Travelocompare.net honors this 24-hour cancellation right. To exercise this right, you must contact us within 24 hours of your original booking confirmation. Requests submitted after this window will be processed under standard airline fare rules.

7. Airline-Initiated Cancellations and Schedule Changes

If an airline cancels your flight, makes a significant schedule change, or you are involuntarily denied boarding, you are typically entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no extra charge under DOT regulations and the airline's own policies. In such cases, Travelocompare.net will waive our standard service fees and assist you in obtaining a refund or alternative booking at no additional cost to you.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Travelocompare.net's booking and service fees (except in cases of airline-initiated cancellation)
  • Ancillary fees paid for seat upgrades, baggage, meals, or in-flight services once confirmed by the airline
  • Travel insurance premiums (subject to the insurer's own policy terms)
